Conclave 2005
The 2005 Conclave brought us to the Heart of Virginia Council Scout Reservation and its new Cub Adventure Camp.

Members enjoyed a visit to the Nawakwa Lodge Museum.
Saturday morning, members participated in a variety of training sessions.
The section came together to carve a totem pole.
Arrrrgh!
The Blue Heron Pirate Crew hoists the battle flag.
Blue Heron Dance Team Chairman David Scheetz placed second in the traditional dance competition.
Rick Fraenkel placed first in the section Vigil competition. Michael Clasing also competed.
Games included log tossing ...
... and hatchet throwing.
Meals were served in the new Cub Adventure Camp dining hall.
What would conclave be without the annual volleyball tournament?
Saturday night, the lodges of the section came together for the show.
The pirate ship sailed into port for the show.
A local band called "Zero Hour" opened the show.
The highlight of the night was a storytelling performance by the ranger.
The Lodge ceremonial team performed very well. The Pre-Ordeal team took third place as a team. Individually, Paul Roberts and Andrew Lynn both placed third in their respective roles. Rick Fraenkel placed first in his role.
