Blue Heron Lodge #349

One of the purposes of the Order of the Arrow is "to recognize those campers - Scouts and Scouters - who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives and by such recognition cause other campers to conduct themselves in such manner as to warrant recognition."

To that end, Blue Heron Lodge presents three major awards annually.

The Founders' Award is presented annually to up to two Arrowmen who demonstrate exceptional service to the Order.
The James E. West Award is available to any person who donates $1000 to the Council Endowment Fund. Blue Heron Lodge makes one such gift on behalf of an Arrowman each year.
The Vigil Honor is presented each year to Arrowmen who go above and beyond the call of duty in leadership roles and in providing service to the Order and to Scouting.
